William 'Bill' Burns, 75

William “Bill” Burns, a resident of Whitefish, formerly of Haverhill, Massachusetts, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 28, 2021, in Kalispell, at the age of 75 years.

Bill was born and raised in Somerville, Massachusetts, and moved to Haverhill where he remained for the majority of his adult life. He moved to Whitefish in 2012 and started his painting business, Whitefish Painting Solutions. His bucket truck was a familiar sight around the valley.

Bill suffered a traumatic brain injury in October 2017 and gave a valiant effort to live a full life.

He will be sadly missed by his longtime friend, Andrea Bryant, and new friends that he made in the community during his short stay here.

An open house, in Bill’s honor, will be held at Columbia Mortuary, 1010 4th Ave., W., Columbia Falls on Friday, Sept. 10 from 2 to 4 p.m.
