Great Fish Challenge goes on air with KGEZ

The Great Fish Community Challenge is coming to a close at 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 17.

With the cancellation of the event’s annual Community Fair and Fun Run, the Whitefish Community Foundation has organized a new event on-air program with KGEZ radio to celebrate the 61 nonprofits that participated in the Challenge.

Friday, Sept. 10, from 7:20 a.m. to 1 p.m., donations of $50 or more — online and in person — made during the program have the chance to win 12 $250 incentive grants.

How to donate:

• Donate online at whitefishcommunityfoundation.org

• Stop by a pop-up donation station to donate in person at Hockaday Museum of Art (302 Second Ave. E., Kalispell) or Whitefish Community Foundation (214 Second St. W., Whitefish) between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. There will also be a pop-up donation station today, Sept. 9, at Bonsai Brewing Company (549 Wisconsin Ave, Whitefish) from 5 to 8 p.m.
