Richard Allan Buzzard, 62

Richard Allan Buzzard went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021 in Columbia Falls, at the age of 62.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Jan Buzzard.

He is survived by his mother, Delores Buzzard; his brother, Dennis Buzzard; his children, Chrystal Buzzard, Casey Buzzard, Shasta Buzzard and Richard “R.J.” Buzzard; and his grandchildren, Christian Buzzard and Ava Buzzard.

Richard was born Aug. 8, 1959, in the town of Marion, Indiana. He grew up loving baseball, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, camping, riding dirt bikes, bonfires and road trips.

Richard graduated from Flathead High School.

He worked as a telephone contractor until he got hired on with the telephone company in Chiloquin, Oregon. In 1989 he was transferred back home to the Flathead Valley where he continued to work 20+-plus years. He was baptized in 1990 at Riverside Alliance.

There will be a graveside service at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery in Kalispell on Saturday, Sept. 11, at noon, with a gathering to follow at his close friend Ken Wiles' home at 680 Martini Lane in Columbia Falls.
