Anna Mae 'Bobbie' Ridgway, 75

| September 19, 2021 12:00 AM

It is with profound sadness and much love that we announce the passing of Anna Mae "Bobbie" Ridgway, 75, on Sept. 6, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Bobbie was born on Sept. 4, 1946, in Kalispell to Robert and Erma (Thompson) Ridgway. She attended Augusta, Flathead and Helena high schools, graduating in 1964. Bobbie had several different career paths in her life including working at Northwest Montana Human Resources, bartending at various local establishments, including the Sportsman's Bar and Julie's Bar, but she was most proud of being a professional florist at Super's Flowers, Woodland Flowers and eventually opening her own shop Bobbie's Flowers.

Bobbie's family and friends were her everything. She was a real rock for many and accepted folks without judgment, touching so many along the way as a mentor and guiding light, especially her beloved grandchildren. She had a passion for hot rods and all things Harley Davidson, rocking the look in her leathers with her blue rose tattoo and sometime's blue hair!

Bobbie is survived by her son Dean Moore of Kalispell, daughter Marleita Moore-Beaudoin and husband Loren of Kalispell, daughter Breanna Glenn of Libby, her grandchildren Jacob, Aiyden, Destinee, Riley, Zander and Paxton, her siblings and their spouses Robert Ridgway Jr., Kevin Gaab, Carol Jeffries, Patty Brewer, Nancy Swanson, Terry Hamper, Glenda Dupuis and Jacky Fowers, as well as more nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, special friends, "family" by choice, in-laws and out-laws to be allowed in print.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Erma, foster mother, Leita Converse, and Ridgway siblings, Pete, Wanda, Deana and Tracy.

A celebration of life will be held at her sister Nancy Swanson's property "out west" on Sept. 25, beginning at 2 p.m. Bring a dish to pass, beverage of choice and stories to share. Contact the family for additional details.
