Earl Gene ‘Babe’ Harriman, 71

Babe passed away March 3, 2022, with his family by his side.

He was born Feb. 23, 1951, to Richard Earl Harriman and Ellen Claudine Allen Harriman in Conrad, Montana.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Faye and Carol.

He is survived by his wife, Taomo “Tammie” of 44 1/2 years; one sister, Patricia Harriman Sylvia, two aunts, Una Moog and Judy Sindon; his seven children, Ronda Heil (Jack), Dustin Harriman, Ray Harriman (Karina), Kallie Corrigeux (Randy), Ron Crawley (Marian), Heidi Thomas (Mark), and Samantha Shultz; grandchildren, Jenniffer Nelson, Micheal Mattheisen (Ben), Amanda Bouma (Joel), Kennedy “Petunia” Brown, Breanna Thomas, Jayden Thomas, Isabel Marie Harriman, Tehya Rae Harriman, Quinnton Harriman and Maisy Weckwerth; great-grandchildren, Austin Nelson (Stacie), Jayden Nelson and Alexis Nelson; and great-great-grandchildren, Scarlet, Micheal and Paisley.

He will also be greatly missed by many cousins, nieces and nephews, many friends, and friends that became his family.

After returning home from the military (Army), Babe worked for Coca Cola Bottling Company in Kalispell (service tech department) for 11 years. He received his master’s in robotics in 1981. Babe had to take early retirement due to injuries.

He also built and repaired clocks and fine jewelry.

In 2006 he built, with his wife Tammie, Railline Tavern in Marion. He had so many amazing rides, runs and fun with everyone!

Babe saw many adventures, making friends and memories. His passions were many, but his most cherished and rewarding were his Harley (Old Blue), family and friends.

As to Babe’s wishes, there will be a gathering at The Railline Tavern, 266 Pleasant Valley Road in Marion, at 2 p.m. June 11.
