Vals, Vikes split Tuesday tennis duals
BIGFORK — Bigfork split in tennis duals Tuesday, against Valley Christian and Missoula Loyola.
Loyola won 5-1 over the Valkyries and 6-0 against the Vikings.
Maci Pickens won at No. 4 singles for the Vals, and the team’s other point came from a Loyola forfeit in doubles.
The Vals defeated Valley Christian 4-2.
Against Valley Christian, Callie Martinz and Hazel Lowell were singles winners, while Emma Berreth and Anika Ranson prevailed at No. 1 doubles.
The Vikings tied Valley Christian 3-3, with Ian McMann a winner in singles play. In doubles, pairs Caden Leonard and Blane Barrows and Landen Livingston/Logan Livingston were also victorious.
