Christopher Patrick Wallace, 55

| April 24, 2022 12:00 AM

Christopher Patrick Wallace passed away on April 16, 2022, at the age of 55.

Born on Oct. 7, 1966, in Pacifica California, Chris was the youngest of 11 children born to Harold and Nora Mae Wallace.

At age five, the Wallace family moved to Whitefish where Chris would develop his appreciation for Flathead Valley and its many outdoor pursuits. His love for hunting, fishing and exploration was often shared with close and extended family. Chris valued his family above all else.

Chris married Libby on June 26, 1993, and their family flourished with Katie and Justin. Tragically, Libby passed away in 2005. He later married Heidi on Sept. 21, 2013, and their family grew again as 10-year-old Carson joined them. Chris was a proud father and grandfather. Despite sometimes debilitating health challenges, he rarely missed a game, a performance, or a life event.

Chris was happiest when in the service of others and was often recognized as the first person to offer aid in a time of need. He was a thoughtful gift giver, a skilled chef, a talented craftsman, and a lover of Mopar, the sport of O-Mok-See, Coca Cola and of all God’s creatures.

Chris was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Nora-Mae Wallace, his wife Libby Wallace, and his siblings Bob Wallace, David Wallace, Laurie Blake, Mike Wallace, and Terry Jean Athy.

He is survived by his wife Heidi Wallace, children Katie and Klint Jarvis, Justin Wallace and Carson Robison, grandchildren Kaisley and Kole Jarvis, and siblings Gary Wallace, Cherryll Wallace, Kathleen Chasteen, Jerry Wallace, and Debbie Spiller, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church on May 3 at 11 a.m. Viewing at the same location will begin at 10 a.m. A reception celebrating Christopher’s life will be held that afternoon at the Hampton Inn Kalispell at 3 p.m.
