Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Montana Properties kicked off its first statewide Volunteer Day by sending a team of volunteers to help the Bigfork Chamber of Commerce on April 23. The group helped clean up the streets and highways around Bigfork.

“Our real estate professionals are passionate about giving back to the local community. It's at the heart of everything we do as Realtors. We are excited to help in any way we can,” said Kristen Broughton, managing broker of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Bigfork and Kalispell offices.

• KLJ Engineering announced that Jonah Winchester has joined its Kalispell office. Winchester will be working as a senior survey crew chief.

He earned associate degrees in geomatics technologies and civil engineering technologies from Southwestern Community College in Sylva, North Carolina.

Madeleine “Maddie” Porter, joined WGM Group’s Missoula office as a staff engineer in February 2021 and recently moved up and joined the Kalispell office. Porter received her bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from Montana State University in the fall of 2020. Her academic background focused on environmental, hydraulic, storm water, and water resources engineering. She worked as a project engineering intern at a general contracting firm in Seattle in summer 2019. Her first projects at WGM have focused on subdivisions and grading.

Madeleine “Maddie” Porter
