The Land Affair benefits open spaces, wild places

| August 11, 2022 12:00 AM

Flathead Land Trust is hosting The Land Affair again this year, after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. The comeback event will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 17, at Snowline Acres, Ashley Creek Historic Venue, in Kalispell, starting at 6 p.m. This indoor-outdoor event, with views of the Swan Mountains, celebrates the water, wildlife and wide open spaces of the Flathead, and ensures continued conservation of them.

Live music will be provided by the multi-instrumental Christian Johnson Project. The event will also feature local, farm-sourced appetizers. Beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks will be available at a no-host bar. The evening will culminate with a Live Drive paddle raise.

Flathead Land Trust is a nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting Northwest Montana’s land and water legacy through community-based conservation. Proceeds from The Land Affair will benefit Flathead Land Trust’s efforts to conserve critical open land and intact landscapes, wildlife habitat, family farms and enhance public recreational opportunities throughout northwest Montana.
