Three people die in accident near Browning

Three people died last week when the driver of a pickup truck attempting to pass another vehicle collided head-on with a motorcycle near Browning.

The crash occurred on Aug. 12 on Montana 464 in Glacier County. Road conditions were dry and clear at the time of the accident, according to the Montana Highway Patrol.

The driver of the Chevy Silverado was a 64-year-old woman from Babb.

The two people riding the Harley Davidson motorcycle a man and woman, both 52, were from Fortson, Georgia. Both suffered fatal injuries, according to the highway patrol.

The driver of the pickup, who was wearing a seatbelt, was transported to Blackfoot Community Hospital in Browning with serious injuries. The driver was later pronounced dead.
