Duane Roberts, 91

Duane Roberts, 91, passed away peacefully at home on Aug. 19, 2022.

He was born in Michigan and came to the Flathead Valley as a young boy. He met his wife Frankie in high school and they were married shortly after graduation.

They moved away briefly, but returned to the Flathead where they worked and raised their family.

Duane loved camping, fishing, woodworking and teasing his friends and family After retiring, Frankie and Duane moved to Arizona where they lived for many years.

Duane moved back to the Flathead a few years ago.

The family feels very blessed to have been able to spend the last years with him and we truly enjoyed having him near.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Frankie, and his son Don. He is survived by his son John (Terry), his daughter Mary (Tom) and his youngest daughter Cathy (Eddie), and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be truly missed.

The family is planning a celebration of life for family and friends on Sept. 17.

Donations to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
