For Fine Art exhibits Smaller Works Show

Beginning Dec. 9, For Fine Art will host its sixth annual 235 Smaller Works Show in its downtown Whitefish gallery. Originally created to celebrate the relocation of the gallery from Bigfork, the show has since become the highlight of the gallery’s annual event calendar. Artwork will be on display from Dec. 9 through Jan. 14 with a public opening reception from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, in conjunction with the Whitefish Christmas Stroll, a long-standing community tradition featuring holiday music, photos with Santa, caroling, a tree lighting ceremony, street artisans and food vendors.

First Presbyterian Church hosts FHS choirs to perform

The women of First Presbyterian Church of Kalispell are hosting a “Get in the Mood for Christmas” program with the Flathead High School choir and musical ensemble under the direction of Jennifer Stephens Dec. 1, at noon at 540 S. Main St. in Kalispell.

GHS music department hosts holiday concerts

The Glacier High School band will hold its holiday concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 8 in the performance hall.

Glacier High School's choir, band and orchestra will perform together at 4 and 7 p.m. Dec. 15 in the performance hall.

FHS music department hosts concerts

Flathead High School’s Music Department is offering three holiday concerts this season. The public is encouraged to attend.

The FHS Choir will offer two concerts Tuesday, Dec. 6, with performances at 4:30 and 7 p.m.

The FHS Orchestra concert will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8.

The FHS Band Concert will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 13.

Gypsy Theatre Guild presents holiday radio show

The Gypsy Theatre Guild presents a radio show production of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” at the Conrad Mansion in Kalispell. The show is directed by Larry Lefcourt.

Performances are at 7 p.m. Dec. 2 and 3; and at 2 p.m. Dec. 3 and 4.
