Tracy Lee Jacobs, 62

On Aug. 15, 2022, Tracy Lee Jacobs of Bigfork passed away at Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell. Her cause of death was determined to be septic shock, sepsis, mitral valve endocarditis and methicillin-sensitive staphylococcus aureus bacteremia.

Tracy is survived by her mother Dorothy, sister Rose and brother Chuck — all of Northern California; and two children from a previous childhood marriage, they are Kristin Kovacs and Gary Kovacs of Portland, Oregon.

Tracy was married in Kalispell in 2006 to a childhood friend, Paul Jacobs, and she took up residence in Bigfork.

She spent her energy and time working at different jobs in the valley but mostly loved to go boating on local lakes and rivers and interact with her family and friends.

Tracy was known for her intense affection and willingness to do for others.

She was also gullible to the extent it was adorable.

She left behind three step-children and seven grandchildren who she was just getting to know.
