Theater’s ‘Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer’ heads into final weekend

| December 15, 2022 12:00 AM

The Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theater stages the classic “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer” on Dec. 16, 17 and 18 at the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts.

Based on the animated film, the story tells the tale of a young Rudolph, who is bullied for his bright-red nose in Christmas-town. He flees town, makes new friends, and a series of funny and endearing adventures ensue — including a visit to The Island of Misfit Toys and trouble from the abominable Snow Monster. Rudolph journeys home, and the feature that previously made him an outcast in Christmas-town just may save the day for Santa and children around the world.

Celebrate the joy of Christmas with this beloved classic tale with a cast of both children and adults.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 16 and Saturday, Dec.17, with a 2 p.m Sunday matinee on Dec. 18.

Ticket prices are $14 for adults, $12 for seniors, $11 for students and $10 for children under 10 and can be purchased online or at the box office one hour prior to performances.
