Davis, Raptors hand Bravettes a loss
Gallatin’s Jada Davis scored 20 points, 11 in the critical fourth quarter that pushed the Raptors over Flathead 40-34 Saturday, for the Bravettes’ first girls basketball loss.
Kennedy Moore scored 14 points for Flathead (3-1), which led 18-17 at halftime and trailed just 28-27 going to the final 8 minutes.
Davis hit her second three in the frame, and went 4-for-8 at the line besides to help keep the Bravettes — who went just 4 of 15 on free throws — at bay.
Akilah Kubi and Celie VandenBosch each added seven points and Sam Salagar six for Flathead; VandenBosch had all her points in the third quarter.
