Whitefish Awards Gala nominations due
Whitefish Chamber of Commerce will be holding their annual awards gala in January and nominations for awards will be accepted until Dec. 23. The event itself will be held on Jan. 26, and is “Fire and Ice” themed. Categories for award nominations are Business of the Year, Tourism Business of the Year, Citizen of the Year, and The Great Whitefish Award. Nominations can be submitted by email to membership@whitefishchamber.org
Montana supply chain webinar
The Small Business Development Center is hosting a webinar on Jan. 5 to help small businesses create more informed inventory management systems and a more resilient supply chain. PeerSpectives Applications Due
A peer-learning opportunity for executives, PeerSpectives is a roundtable system for leaders of second stage companies – typically organizations with annual sales over $1 million and 10 employees or more. Montana West Economic Development offers the only licensed PeerSpectives roundtables in Montana and leads one roundtable annually. The 2023 group will be selected in February, and applications for interested parties can be found at https://dobusinessinmontana.com/peerspectives/ and are due by Jan. 16.
Columbia Falls business luncheon
The Columbia Falls Chamber of Commerce is hosting their monthly luncheon on Jan. 10 from 11:30 to 1 p.m.. Mary Sterhan, Greater Valley Health Center CEO, will be speaking. GVHC is a non-profit primary care, behavioral health and dental services provider with a mission to provide care regardless of ability to pay. The event costs $15 to attend and will be at Cedar Creek Lodge and Conference Center, Columbia Falls.
