DAR makes donation to warming center
The Daughters of the American Revolution, Chief Ignace Chapter in Kalispell, recently met for their annual holiday meeting and donation collection for a local nonprofit organization. This year, the recipient is the Flathead Warming Center.
The warming center staff requested donations of necessary items like lip balm, large trash bags and cold weather gloves to help the community’s homeless individuals survive the cold weather season. The mission of the Flathead Warming Center is to provide a warm, safe, low-barrier facility.
