Eureka boys top Loyola
MISSOULA — Gavin Bates scored 28 points, seven in the fourth quarter, and the Eureka Lions downed Missoula Loyola 64-56 for a non-conference boys basketball win.
Joey Kindel added 11 points for the District 7-B Lions (6-8 overall). Bates had four 3-pointers and Kindel hit three; Eureka was 20-for-28 at the line, capped by an 11-for-13 performance in the final eight minutes.
Declan Harrington scored 15 points and Reynolds Johnston added 14 for the District 6-B Rams (6-8).

Nick Walker scored 19 points for District 7-B Bigfork (7-7), which led 28-27 at half and 39-37 going to the final frame.
Florence, 12-2 and sitting atop District 6-B, was 13-for-15 on free throws while the Vikings were 11 of 19.
