Winter Carnival comes to Whitefish library
Winter Carnival takes center stage at Whitefish Library’s StoryCircle on Thursday, Feb. 4, at 10:30 a.m.
Preschoolers will hear the junior version of King Ullr’s and the Queen of the Snow’s journey to their home on Big Mountain. Vikings, Yetis, the Prime Minister and Penguins all make an appearance in the Whitefish folk tale.
Yetis also star in the story “How Do Yetis Visit the Library?” "This is a fun take on manners that makes the Yetis a little less scary than they might seem at the Winter Carnival Parade,” librarian Mary Drew Powers said. “And of course, we teach them the proper Yeti greeting — a high five.”
