Cabin Fever Days returns Feb. 11-13

The 43rd Annual Cabin Fever Days and World Famous Barstool Ski Races are set for Feb. 11, 12 and 13 in the Hungry Horse Canyon communities.

The Trapline Association presents many different events will take place at multiple locations throughout three small communities of Hungry Horse, Martin City and Coram. Martin City is the location of the World Famous Barstool Ski Races, where you can find vendors, kids events, snowshoe softball, and more. Canyon bar venues feature their own signature events throughout the weekend, which are easily accessed with the free shuttle, which runs Saturday and Sunday.

New this year, two new live music venues have been added at the Dew Drop Inn and the Paul Bunyan.

Also new this year is required pre-registration for barstool racing.The registration deadline has been extended to Feb. 7 to accommodate as many racers as possible. An entry form can be downloaded on the website, www.cabinfeverdays.com.

This year also marks the return of a professional DJ/emcee. Sugar Hill will be professionally groomed to provide top notch racing conditions for the Barstool Ski Races. Live racing results are available during the event on the website. Contribute to the event by entering the Barstool Ski Races in Martin City, or try out other competitions at various Canyon bar venues. Racer and sled regulations can also be found online.

Friends, families and businesses are encouraged to put a sled together. The Trapline Association exists to put on the regionally renowned weekend long event, Cabin Fever Days, the second weekend of each February. Proceeds from the event each year benefit the Martin City Volunteer Fire Department, Hungry Horse Volunteer Fire Department, Canyon Quick Response Unit and more events and causes which improve the community for residents and visitors alike.
