Republican Women hold annual Chocolate Extravaganza

The Flathead County Republican Women presents their annual Chocolate Extravaganza at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kalispell on Feb. 12.
The evening includes a dinner banquet, music and a display of chocolate confections as numerous bakers compete in several categories. Doors open at 5 p.m. and dinner and events begin at 6 p.m.
A buffet dinner will be served, and a bar will be available for purchasing drinks including a special chocolate cocktail.
The evening includes music by Wai Mizutani and his band. Sandy Smith will also be singing smooth jazz with the band, and a dance floor will be available for those who enjoy dancing.
As usual, there will be an amazing display of chocolate cakes, pies, cookies, bars, candy and confections.
Numerous bakers, both professional and amateur, will be competing for the titles of first, second, and third place winners. Awards will be given for the best of several categories, which include the coveted Best of Show. Judges will choose winners for both taste and appearance.
Tickets are available for the event on Eventbrite, FCRW Facebook page or by calling Barb at 406-209-0230. Tickets are $60 for adults and $40 for ages 14 to 18. The price includes dinner, plus three Ducat gold coins.
Ducat sellers will be available throughout the evening. Raffle baskets will also be available.
