Sentinel boys take down Glacier, 49-43
MISSOULA — Drew Klumph scored 16 points, Joe Weida chipped in with 12 and Missoula Sentinel edged Glacier 49-43 for a Western AA boys basketball win Friday.
Noah Dowler and Ty Olsen scored nine points each for Glacier, led led 36-35 going into the final frame but fell to 3-9 overall and 2-6 in league games.
Sentinel (6-6 overall, 5-3 in the Western AA) hit two field goals in the fourth quarter — baskets by Klumph and Weida — but made 10 of 15 free throws to outscore the Pack 14-7 in the frame.
Glacier was 2-for-6 at the line in the final eight minutes; Tyler McDonald scored all of his five points in the frame for the Pack, which plays at Butte today.
