Debbie Ann Kaber, 66

| February 11, 2022 12:00 AM

Debbie Ann Kaber passed away at home peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022.

Debbie was born on Oct. 27, 1955, in Eureka to Robert Hibbert and Lucy Rude. Debbie spent her early years in Kalispell, with summers in Utah with her dad. After graduating from Kearns High School, she moved back to Kalispell and spent the rest of her life in the Flathead Valley. She met Claude Kaber and they were married in 1977. Debbie then spent her years chasing her four boys, Tyler, Justin, Tony, and Troy, all over the valley and the state watching them in their sports and activities. In her retirement, Debbie regained her love for baking and became everyone’s favorite cake maker and cookie decorator. Debbie loved baking and making special treats for her grandbabies and many friends and family. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, Kaden, Makenna and Hailee, and loved having the kids over to spend time with her. Debbie took a trip to Hawaii and fell in love, and when she came back she turned the deck into her tiki deck and spent countless hours enjoying her tiki deck.

Debbie was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Lucy and Lawrence Rude, and her father Robert Hibbert.

Debbie is survived by husband, Claude Kaber; sons, Tyler Kaber and his wife Tara, Justin Kaber and his wife Heidi, Tony Kaber, and Troy Kaber; grandchildren, Kaden Kaber, Makenna Kaber and Hailee Kaber; siblings, Jeff Hibbert and wife Tawnee, Bobbi Bewley and husband Marty, Larry Hibbert and wife Charmayne and many aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Debbie was also survived by so many great friends who were her family as well.

Debbie will be missed by so many but we will remember her for her big heart, her love of her family, and her amazing cookies and cakes!
