Valkyries wrap up Thompson Falls
BIGFORK — The Valkyries wrapped up their regular season with a 62-45 win over Thompson Falls on Saturday.
Braeden Gunlock led the way for Bigfork (17-1) in scoring with 20 points, Callie Gembala scored 12 and Emma Berreth and Ava Davey each scored 10.
For Thompson Falls, Maliyah LeCoure poured in 18 points and Natalie Roberts added 11.
Both schools receive an opening round bye for the upcoming District 7-B tournament.

WHITEFISH — The Columbia Falls Wildkats topped Northwest A rival Whitefish 37-30, led by Maddie Robison’s 14 points.
Hope McAtee added 11 points for the Wildkats, who built a 21-9 lead by the half.
For Whitefish, Erin Wilde scored 11 points, and Taylor Means added seven.

For Polson, Arenanna Burke scored 12, and Lexi Wirz scored nine points.

Jadyn Pluid led Eureka with 19 points, Dylan Sharp scored nine, Ixone Coteron scored eight and Reena Truman and Remmi Stanger each scored five points.
For Troy, Zeenah Reid scored two points and Elaine Folkers scored one.
