Idaho women dies in Columbia Falls crash
An Idaho woman died in a single-vehicle crash at about midnight on Wednesday at the intersection of U.S. 2 and Nucleus Avenue, Columbia Falls Police said in a press release Thursday morning.
The 26-year-old was found dead at the scene.
Excessive speed and alcohol are suspected in the crash, though the investigation is still ongoing, police said. The vehicle went off U.S. 2 and struck a tree in front of Glacier Bank.
The victim’s identity was not immediately released pending notification of kin.
