Mizutani and friends perform Opus 2 of ‘The Lord of the Strings’ concert series
World-renowned violinist Wai Mizutani will perform the second concert in his 12-concert “The Lord of the Strings” concert series Sunday, Feb. 27, presenting Opus 2 of 12, “Film Scores,” at the Flathead High School auditorium. The concert begins at 3 p.m. Doors open at 2:30 p.m.
Accompanying Mizutani will be accomplished concert pianist and rising star from Kalispell, Jordan Neiman, with local musician and Mizutani’s drum teacher Rob Spencer on drums. Special guest is the Lakeside Dance Studio.
This concert will feature famous movie music from such film classics as “The King and I,” “Singing in the Rain” and “The Lord of the Rings.”
Tickets are $15 for adults, and $10 for seniors and school age. Children under 10, veterans and active duty military are admitted free. Tickets may be purchased at the concert or in advance online at impactwsce.com, eventbrite.com or call 406-212-9515.
