Construction resumes on Foy’s Lake Road interchange

| February 26, 2022 12:00 AM

The Montana Department of Transportation will resume minor construction near Ashley Creek, south of the U.S. Highway 2 exit, beginning the first week of March 2022, pending weather and permits.

Roadwork will take place in this area for approximately 30 days. The southbound lane near Ashley Creek will be temporarily closed and traffic will be directed with signage.

The bicycle lane near the interchange will be closed during construction. In addition, pedestrian access will be limited to the north of Ashley Creek.

Depending on favorable weather, full construction on the Foy’s Lake Road Interchange will resume in April 2022. Full construction will include final chip seal application and painting road lines. Updates will be communicated as this date approaches, a press release stated.
