Law roundup: Moved furniture not a crime

.A woman called the Kalispell Police Department because she was suspicious that someone came on her porch and messed up the chairs and tables and wanted to file a report. Officers answered her questions and determined no crime was committed.

A woman told officers her husband was hit by a black SUV with tinted windows in the parking lot of a big-box store and was taken to the hospital for pain in his legs.

Someone allegedly shot a firework inside a bank’s ATM foyer and a woman who was inside at the time with her dog said she was not injured, but it was smokey.

A man reportedly went into a business, grabbed two snowboards off the wall, ran out an emergency exit and drove away in a green Chevy pickup.

An employee reportedly needed law enforcement assistance in removing a screaming woman who was being disorderly. The woman was dropped off at her aunt's.

An employee asked officers to move along a man in the lobby area because he was not a guest and was refusing to leave.

Someone, who previously called about a woman standing on the bypass, called back to report they ended up picking her up and giving her tea to warm up and now she was just standing outside her home. Officers took her to a shelter.

An auto transport hauler told officers a person took off with a pickup truck and headed onto U.S. 2. They said a silver or beige small sedan had pulled over earlier and was driving around and was seen following the stolen pickup as it drove by. The vehicle was located at Jewel Basin Court.

An employee requested a welfare check on a man asleep in a running “street racer car” parked near the front entrance of the business.

A mail carrier reported a dying dog in a backyard after the owners didn’t answer their door. The dog was reportedly dead when officers arrived.
