Butte girls hold off Sorensen, Glacier

BUTTE — Kodie Hoagland scored 15 points and Butte withstood a fourth-quarter rally by Glacier to beat the Wolfpack 46-42 in Western AA girls basketball.

The Bulldogs (4-1 overall, 1-1 in the Western AA) hit just 3-pointers, with Hoagland getting one, but forged a 24-16 halftime lead.

Bethan Sorensen hit a pair of threes for Glacier (3-3, 0-2 in league) on the way to 11 points. She also had eight rebounds. Noah Fincher added nine points and four steals.
