Moy’s early burst helps Bravettes improve to 6-0

MISSOULA — Maddy Moy scored a game-high 14 points, seven in the first quarter, and Flathead built an early lead and held off Missoula Sentinel for another girls basketball win Saturday.

Moy’s early burst guided Flathead (6-0, 2-0 in the Western AA) to a 20-12 first-quarter lead.

Clare Converse had five early points and six more in the third as the Bravettes overcame foul trouble (Converse and Akilah Kubi fouled out) to prevail.

Converse and Moy each hit two threes, and Kennedy Moore hit another on the way to 12 points.

Olivia Huntsinger led Sentinel (3-3, 1-1 in league) with 13 points.
