Kaden Sheridan and Joseph Weida scored 11 points each and Missoula Sentinel rallied late to edge Glacier 54-51 in Western AA boys basketball Friday.

Sheridan hit three 3-pointers, one coming in the fourth quarter as the Spartans made up a 48-44 deficit. Glacier (1-4, 0-1 in the Western AA) had surged to a 30-23 halftime lead, and two 3-pointers each from Will Salonen and Connor Sullivan kept the Wolfpack ahead in the third quarter.

We started the game real well and then I think just got tight in the fourth quarter,” Glacier coach Mark Harkins said. “Three points. We got a nice lead and were unable to hold on. Sentinel kept battling, and we just needed to be more aggressive. Kids played hard, no question.”

Salonen scored a game-high 14 points, and Sullivan checked in with 12.

“Kyson Wagner also did a nice job, taking it to the basket,” Hartkins added. “And I thought Connor played really good defense on Sheridan.”

The Pack plays home again today, against Butte. Tip off is 3 p.m.
