Kathleen Mary (Welder) Huff, 81

Kathleen Mary (Welder) Huff, age 81, of Kalispell, passed away after her battle with breast cancer Jan. 1, 2022, at Logan Health Medical Center.

Kathleen was born on Nov. 29, 1940, in Minot, North Dakota, to Jacob and Kay (Fischer) Welder.

Kathleen worked for Bowing for 30 years and was able to retire in the mid-1980s. In her spare time, she rode her ATV all over, going on long car rides to the bison range, dancing, and spending time on the water fishing. Kathleen loved to bake cookies, cupcakes and bread, and candy for her friends or anyone who helped out, which was her way of saying thank you.

Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents Jacob and Kay, and many friends who loved her.

She is survived by her sons Terry Patrick Walsh and Scott Kelly Walsh, granddaughter Katie P. Walsh, and brother Harry Fischer.

There will be no services, and per her wishes, Kathleen will be spread at Flathead River in the summer of 2022. Family and friends are invited to pay respects at 336 Batavia Lane in Kalispell.
