Pedestrian killed on U.S. 2 in Martin City

A Butte woman was killed Sunday when she was struck by a vehicle while walking in the roadway near Martin City.

According to a Montana Highway Patrol report, the 33-year-old woman was walking in the roadway on U.S. 2 at about 9:15 p.m., when she was hit by an eastbound vehicle driven by a Coram resident.

The woman died on the scene. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

Road conditions were reported to be clear.
