Law roundup: Deer in headlights didn’t stop driver

| January 15, 2022 12:00 AM

A Kalispell driver hit three deer and kept driving without stopping, they told the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office.

A black and white dog supposedly ran loose in Whitefish for a month.

A dog bite and a cat bite were reported on the same day in separate locations.

A Kalispell resident reported an ongoing issue with a neighbor blowing snow into his yard. He recorded video footage of the malicious activity.

Another neighbor apparently plowed snow in front of a neighbor’s door so a real estate agent couldn’t gain access to the door.

Someone else saw a deer limping across a road.

An employee was upset about not being paid, so he tried to steal tools from his employer as compensation.

A woman thought she saw a fire. She said there was a “glow” at the location.

Yelling was overheard in Bigfork, and the caller said she was “very worried that no one will hear the yelling.” However, someone in the area told law enforcement he did not hear any yelling.

A vehicle was taken from a south Kalispell extended-stay hotel.

A woman sleeping in the waiting area of a pharmacy refused to leave.

A snow-covered vehicle was parked in the middle of a Whitefish road.

An alleged theft victim didn’t report his items being stolen until he said they showed up at a pawn shop.

A man lost some money and his passport. He wasn’t sure if his belongings were stolen or simply lost.

A traveler called law enforcement about jewelry she lost several months prior to making the call.
