C-Falls girls win Kat-Dog basketball battle

COLUMBIA FALLS — Maddie Robison led three Columbia Falls players in double figures with 15 points, and the Wildkats made short work of Whitefish in Northwest A girls basketball Saturday.

Hope McAtee added 11 points and eight rebounds for the Kats, while Grace Gedlaman scored 12 points. Alexis Green didn’t score for Columbia Falls, but had five rebounds, six assists and five steals, and sparked a first-quarter 18-1 surge with her defense.

Erin Wilde led the Bulldogs with nine points.

POLSON — Mecca Bullchild scored 16 points and Browning ran out to a 32-16 halftime lead on the way to beating Northwest A foe Polson Saturday.

Jerel Whitegrass added 14 points off the bench and Lish Spoonhunter chipped in another 10 for the Indians.

Lexi Wirz and Makenna Hanson scored 11 each for the Lady Pirates.
