Flathead boys notch first win behind Cripe
HELENA — Joston Cripe poured in 27 points and the Flathead Braves notched their first win of the season Friday, beating the Helena Bengals 55-48 in Western AA boys basketball.
Cripe scored 11 of his points in the fourth quarter while Flathead (1-6 overall, 1-2 in the Western AA) surged to the victory. He hit three buckets before going 5-for-6 at the line to help close things out.
Luca Zoeller added 10 points for Flathead, which trailed 16-9 after one quarter.
Dylan Christman’s 14 points led the Bengals (2-4, 1-1 in league).
