Helena pulls away after first to top Wolfpack
HELENA — The Glacier boys got off to a good start Saturday, before falling off the pace in the second and third quarters of a 60-53 loss at Helena in Western AA boys basketball.
Kaden Huot’s 18 points led the Bengals (3-4 overall, 2-1 in league), who led 25-22 at halftime and 46-35 going into the fourth quarter. Helena enjoyed a 15-7 advantage at the line, with the Pack (2-6, 1-3 in league) missing 13 free throws.
Connor Sullivan hit four 3-pointers and scored 14 points for Glacier. Will Salonen and Nolan Hyde got to work the fourth, combining for 13 points as the Pack tried to climb back. Each player ended with 10 points.
Glacier’s next action is part of a crosstown doublehead at Flathead Friday. The boys game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m .
