Pirates down Wildcats 58-47
COLUMBIA FALLS — Trent Wilson scored 15 points to lead three Polson players in double figures, and the Pirates used a big second half to down Columbia Falls 58-47 in Northwest A action Thursday.
Colton Graham added 11 points for the Pirates (8-5 overall, 5-2 in league), who avenged an early-season 67-60 loss to the Wildcats. Jarrett Wilson scored six of his 10 points in the third quarter, helping Polson take a 41-33 lead.
Jace HIll scored 14 points for Columbia Falls (7-5, 2-4 in the Northwest A), and Cody Schweikert added 11.

WHITEFISH — Talon Holmquist’s 15 points led the Whitefish Bulldogs to a nonconference win over the Eureka Lions.
Holmquist also went 3-for-6 at the free throw line.
Whitefish trailed 16-14 at the half but Eureka’s shooters went cold the rest of the way. The Bulldogs got hot and sealed the win with an 18-point fourth quarter.
Bodie Smith added 13 points for the Bulldogs.
For Eureka, Danny Dunn and Gavin Bates each scored 11 points.
