Whitefish, C-Falls, Libby all score dual wins
WHITEFISH — Whitefish split a pair of duals and Columbia Falls won an early matchup with Class B Thompson Falls, at a dual meet at Whitefish High School Friday.
The host Bulldogs beat East Helena 27-12 and lost to Libby 57-15; Carter Moran scored two pins, one at 138 pounds and one at 145.
Libby had eight forfeit wins, plus a pin from Zekiah Meyers against Whitefish.
Columbia Falls’ win over Thompson Falls was most notable for the match at 145, where the Bluehawks’ Trae Thilmony scored a 9-8 decision over Wildcat standout Justin Windauer.
The Bluehawks were tough in the upper weight classes while Jaxson Sterling (103) and Dylan Delorme (120) led the Matcats in the lower weights.
