Lakers A drop pair to Red Sox

The Lakers A dropped a pair to the Bitterroot Red Sox Sunday afternoon in Legion baseball action at Griffin Field.

Bitterroot beat the Lakers 4-3 and 8-2 in the twinbill.

Three runs in the third inning gave the Red Sox a 3-1 lead in the second game, and tacked on another in the fourth. The Lakers scored two in the fourth but did not complete the comeback.

In the first game, the Red Sox surged into the lead with four runs in the third and added three more in the fifth. The Lakers had three runs on four hits.
