Twins drop two at Keith Sell tourney

HELENA – The Glacier Twins went 0-2 on Sunday at the Keith Sell Tournament, dropping games to the Great Falls Chargers and Butte Miners.

Butte edged Glacier 4-2 with two late runs in the early game, and then Great Falls won 17-14 in a high-scoring affair later in the day.

The Chargers got out to an early lead in the first inning, and built on that with nine runs in the fifth and sixth. Glacier tried to rally with seven runs in the sixth but fell short of the rally.

Pitcher AJ Sloan got the win for Great Falls.

Glacier managed two runs on six hits against Butte, who scored two runs in the sixth to take the lead for good.
