A man was allegedly very upset about a woman lighting fireworks in the area of his house and told the Columbia Falls Police Department that he confronted her and ran over the fireworks. He did not mention if they damaged his vehicle.

A man tried to grab a package that was supposed to be picked up by his girlfriend from a post office employee. An officer made contact with the “condescending, arrogant and belligerent,” man who allegedly dictated what the law was; what his rights were; what the officer’s responsibility was; and what the officer was going to immediately do for him, which was go tell the post office to begin delivering his mail to him. He was referred back to the post office to handle the situation. After the episode, it wasn’t hard to see why he had a conflict with another government entity.

An armed man reportedly sent texts threatening to kill his soon-to-be ex and their children.

A woman whose head was bobbing was reportedly swerving all over the road and hit a curb.

Someone was purportedly convinced the driver of a white SUV was drunk.

Someone’s son was allegedly arrested and they were with the other suspect and his guardian who wanted to “confess his wrongdoing.”

A passerby allegedly followed their nose to what smelled like people smoking a lot of weed and saw a van in the parking lot. They wanted it checked out by police.

A couple sleeping in a car were advised of park hours and told not to sleep in the parking area.

Officers confiscated a fictitious license plate from what appeared to be an abandoned vehicle with a busted window that was parked the wrong way. It was towed away.
