Nadine (Lorentzen) Wynne, 83

| July 7, 2022 12:00 AM

Nadine Wynne was born Jan. 9, 1939, to Tom and Veryl Lorentzen in Hamilton, Montana. She was the fourth of five children.

She passed away in Kalispell on June 23, 2022.

Nadine grew up and attended schools in Darby. She then proceeded on to Northern Montana College in Havre. There, she met and married Tom Wynne in Havre where they settled and proceeded to raise their family. She owned and operated TNT T-shirts in the Havre Mall for many years and enjoyed all the fantastic people of the Hi-Line she met. After Tom’s retirement from the railroad they relocated to Kalispell and eventually Sun City West, Arizona. She traveled to Hawaii, Europe and Ireland and enjoyed these trips immensely with her daughter Zoanne and daughter-in-law Kristen.

Her passions were sewing, cooking, card games with the ladies and, later in life, golf. She was a girl of the mountains and loved her time back in them after raising her family. She always had a kind word and smile on her face. She was a nice person and fantastic mother.

She is survived by all of her children, Zoanne (Bob), Tom Jr. (Sue), Tim (Kristen), and Mike (Stephanie), and nine wonderful grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and siblings Archie, Pauline and Larry.

The family would like to thank the staff at Buffalo Hill Terrace and The Lodge in Kalispell for the outstanding care of our mother. At this time no services are planned. A small family gathering will happen later this fall in the Bitterroot Mountains, her forever home.
