Clyde Robert Devall, 88

Clyde Robert Devall, 88, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2022.

Clyde was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, to George and Orbie Devall. Later in life he moved to Washington state and settled in the Yakima Valley where he met his wife of 66 years, Darlene Devall. They had two children, Terri and Randy, whom he was immensely proud of and loved very much. Clyde worked for Boise Cascade for 30 years before retiring and moving to Kalispell 22 years ago.

Throughout Clyde’s life, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially deep-sea fishing in West Port, Washington; and, as he got older, he enjoyed rockhounding with his friend Tom.

Clyde is survived by his wife Darlene Devall, daughter Terri Devall, grandchildren Kandi (Vanessa) Birkland, Jeff (Ashley) Eberle, Lacey (Ryan) Cyr, Aaron Devall, stepgrandchild John (Kylee) Bossert, brother Earnest Devall, sister Orbie Pinkston, and seven great-grandchildren.

Clyde was preceded in death by his son Randy Devall, parents George and Orbie Devall, sisters Millie Hall, Edith Hendricks, Freida Wilson and Lily Devall, brother George Devall, and stepgrandson Brett Bossert.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
