Stunning comments

It’s stunning reading about the comments concerning LGBTQ issues during the public introduction of the new library trustee.

One citizen thanked this trustee for leading the charge to remove the book “Gender Queer,” saying LGBTQ people “are prone to mental issues.” What?

Sir, while you broad brush the estimated 10 to 15% of the world’s population, may I make a broad suggestion to you? Please return to your cave.

Baseless claims

“Supporters” of the new library board appointee? Can we just say homophobes? Let’s keep it real.

I love the baseless claims and the supposed “proven facts” that a book will cause someone to be raped or molested. Are you people seriously that ignorant?

Why do we let these people who more than likely do not have children or even read for that matter, have a say? The old freedom of speech? Except if you don’t like the context of the book I guess.

Inter Lake wrong to print quotes

I am writing in response to the Daily Inter Lake front page article on Friday, July 22, headlined “New library trustee greeted with acclaim.”

Our local newspaper chose to print, top and center, quotes from an individual at a meeting claiming as a “proven facts” that a library that provides materials with a gender diverse subject matter “fosters perversion and predators,” and linked those materials to fears of child rape in our library.

The reporter just let that slide — there was no follow up or challenge to such an absurd statement, no journalistic nod to actual facts or accountability for the slur.

What’s next, Daily Inter Lake? What will you give a front page platform to tomorrow?

Some racist slurs, perhaps? How about some old-fashioned misogyny? What other “proven facts” will you print to disseminate misinformation and unfounded fears?

Rosendale only cares about his NRA rating

Matt Rosendale is bad for Montana. He’s proven that with every vote in the House and he’s proven it with his support of the RETURN Act.

The RETURN Act would remove taxes on the sale of guns and ammunition but those taxes provide critical funding for conservation, and hunters education.

At least a dozen wildlife and shooting sports organizations have called on Rosendale to withdraw his support of the bill but it’s clear that our sole Representative doesn’t care about our wild places and the fish, birds and animals that live there. He also cares nothing for the hunters, anglers and others who fish, hunt and recreate in Montana’s wild lands.

Rosendale cares about the gun industry and his NRA rating and nothing else. He doesn’t care about the damage that this loss of funding could do to our state and he doesn’t care about us, the citizens he’s supposed to represent.

Blatant tyranny

Article. IV. Section. 4. of the United States Constitution directs the federal government to protect the various states from invasion. In direct violation of the supreme law of the land, Joe Biden and his globalist comrades are aiding and abetting hundreds-of-thousands of illegal aliens swarming across the southern border into Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and California.

In the dead of night, they are transported via buses and planes by NGOs and other law-breakers, at the taxpayers’ expense, to communities all across the country. Unvetted and with intentions unknown, they are then free to take American jobs, depress wages, deplete social services, cause crime and spread disease.

This ongoing invasion is not by accident, it is by design. It is part of the broader strategy by the Democrats (aka anti-American party) to permanently alter the demographics of America and “fundamentally transform” the land of the free and the home of the brave into a socialist/communist stronghold.

The fact that the feckless Republicans are acquiescing to this planned invasion is further proof that the ruling elite have no intention of enforcing the rule of law, and, in fact, are positioning the United States to become just another dependent vassal in the globalist “new world order.”

This is nothing less than high treason and should be treated as such. Without secure borders and the rule of law, there is no United States of America. We the people allow this blatant tyranny to go unchallenged and unpunished at our own peril.
