Glacier was on the verge of a third straight victory Thursday, before the Missoula PaddleHeads scored six runs in the last three innings to take a 7-5 Pioneer League win at Flathead Field.

Back-to-back doubles by Nick Gatewood and Cameron Thompson plated three runs and pushed the PaddleHeads into a 5-4 lead.

After Brody Wofford tied it for Glacier with his second solo home run of the game, the PaddleHeads (5-4 this half) got two-out, RBI singles from Brandon Riley and Lamar Sparks in the ninth inning to go ahead for good.

The Range Riders went down in order in their half and fell to 3-6.

Livingston Morris also homered in the second inning for Glacier, tying the game at 1-1. In the fourth Dan Miller and Drew Sims hit RBI singles; Wofford pushed the gap to 4-1 with his first homer in the sixth.

The comeback marred an excellent start by Glacier’s Rob Hamby, who allowed just three hits and one walk in six innings. He fanned two. Justn Coleman, the fourth reliever into the game for the Range Riders, took the loss.
