2 killed in head-on crash on U.S. 93

Two people were killed Sunday, June 12 in a head-on crash on U.S. 93 in Lake County.

According to a Montana Highway Patrol report, the accident happened at mile marker 15 near Arlee at 5:26 a.m.

A 23-year-old Ronan man driving a Chrysler 300 was headed north on the highway when his vehicle veered into the southbound lane and collided with a Toyota Camry driven by a 22-year-old man from Omak, Washington.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts and died at the scene of the accident.
