Construction course

Job Service Kalispell is hosting a free two-day OSHA 10-Hour Construction Course that teaches workers how to identify, abate, avoid, and prevent job-related hazards. It will include the rights and responsibilities of the employer and the worker. After training is completed, students will receive a course completion card from OSHA. The card is for employers, workers, and students who want to increase their qualifications to work. Advanced registration is required as class size is limited. The class will be held Tuesday, July 12 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Wednesday, July 13 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Job Service Kalispell, 427 First Ave East, Kalispell. Coffee Connect

The Kalispell Chamber of Commerce’s Coffee Connect is Wednesday, June 22 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at PTA Physical Therapy, 105 Village Loop, Kalispell. The program features a host, a spotlight speaker and testimonials for chamber members.

The Columbia Falls Chamber of Commerce holds its June Business After Hours on June 28 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Whitefish Credit Union in Columbia Falls at 405 9th St W. Network with business professionals. The event is free.

Lakeside/Somers chamber bash

The Lakeside/Somers Chamber of Commerce holds its June Bash on June 28 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. The bash is co-hosted by Pure West Real Estate and Glacier Symphony at Pure West Real Estate at 115 Bills Rd, Lakeside. Free for chamber members, $5 for guests.
