Dale Lester Spear, 71

Dale Lester Spear, age 71, of Kila, passed away June 26, 2022, in Kalispell.

Dale was born June 22, 1951, to Clarence Talbert Linden and Helen Lilia (Bashford) Spear. One of two sons, he was born and raised in Mitchell, Nebraska, where he graduated from Sunflower High School in 1971 and would later attend Hyles-Anderson College in Crown Point, Indiana.

In 1972, Dale married Candice Ruser Harms and spent 23 years raising four children until their separation in 1996. He would find love again with Cherie Harris Spear when they wed in 2017 and his family would continue to grow. He owned his own construction business as an independent contractor and gave many sermons as a beloved pastor.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Helen and grandparents Henry and Lettie Bashford and George and Martha Spear.

He is survived by his wife, Cherie; brother CTL Spear; children Eric (Jenn) Spear, Amy (Tim) Esquivel, Heather (Billy) Brymer, Autumn (Nick Holst) Spear; 14 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and granddaughter Brady Laramie from his wife Cherie, which he had a very special place in his heart for her.

A visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Sunday, July 3, with the funeral service starting at 11 a.m. at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home.
