Thomas Lee Adrignola, 61

Thomas Lee Adrignola, 61, of Columbia Falls passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on June 20th, 2022.

Thomas is survived by his wife Angela; father Antonio; sons Andrew (wife Paola) and Anthony; daughter Arianna; brothers Charles and Carlo; sisters Luci (husband Tim) and April (husband Stewart); his beloved dogs Kip and Angel; stepsons Coby and Tyler; grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was known as Papa Tom to his grandchildren Skyler, Sicily, Taylee, Alex, and Brooke.

He was predeceased by his mother, Florence and his brother Tony.

Thomas was born in Ogden, Utah, on May 19, 1961. He grew up in Rollins graduating from Polson High School in 1979. He joined the United States Air Force in 1981 and served at several posts stateside and overseas in Iceland, Saudi Arabia, Italy, and Holland as a security police specialist. He was honorably discharged in 1987 and resided in Utah for several years afterward. Thomas returned to Montana to live out the rest of his life in the place he loved the most.

Thomas was devoted to his community and volunteered with the U.S. Forest Service from 1983 to 1985, was a member of Rollins Volunteer Fire Department from 2004 to 2009, serving as a training officer, assistant chief, and was the volunteer fire chief from 2008 to 2009.

Thomas was an avid hunter, fisherman, and overall outdoorsman. He was a three-time Flathead Lake Rock Skipping Champion, once tied with best friend and brother Carlo. He was a loving husband, father, Papa, son, brother, and uncle who always worked hard to provide for his family. Thomas will be remembered by family and friends for his sense of humor and laugh which was distinctive, infectious, and joyous. He was the most hardworking man, a jack-of-all-trades, and lent a hand to all in need. He was a kind-hearted, passionate person, whose beautiful soul was taken too soon from this earth.

A celebration of life will be held July 3 at 12 p.m. at the Rollins Community Center, 10985 Rollins Lakeshore Dr., Rollins.
